Tim Jones | Senior Account Executive

A proud Alabamian, Tim was born in Selma and has lived in Pickensville for over 30 years. Though a tiny spot on the map, Pickensville perfectly fits his lifestyle, embracing a close family, community, and a love of the outdoors.

With a career spanning 39 years in educational technology, Tim has tirelessly championed technology supports for student learning. Currently, he is excited to focus on increasing STEAM opportunities for students in the southeastern region.

Outside of work, Tim dedicates most of his time to his time to church and family, enjoying outdoor activities such as boating and ATV/UTV riding. A passionate sports fan, he navigates a household of Bama enthusiasts while cheering “War Eagle!” and rooting for the Braves.

How to Fund

Your STEM Program

Enhance your STEM education program with title funding and grants. By partnering with TinkRworks, you’ll have the support and resources needed to secure funding for STEM learning, pursue grant-writing opportunities, and bring exceptional STEAM curriculum to your school. Let us help you open the door to new possibilities and inspire the next generation of innovators.

STEAM VS STEM

At TinkRworks, we proudly advocate for the research behind the A in STEAM. Studies show how the arts positively impact student achievement and teacher efficacy when integrated into a STEM practice. STEAM not only takes STEM to the next level, it allows students to connect learning in science, technology, engineering, and math with critical design principles and standards. These provide a valuable framework and vocabulary for thinking about solving problems creatively. They remove barriers and replace them with curiosity, inquiry, and innovation.

Testimonials

What Our Partners
Are Saying

“From an administrator’s point of view, the biggest success is that teachers enjoy using TinkRworks in their classrooms. They see their students engaged in something rigorous and relevant and that leads to a classroom that is well-managed. Students want to participate. You can’t say that about a lot of programs.”

AARON ESPER, Ph.D.

Director of CTE and Special Projects The Career Academy Network of Public Schools

“TinkRworks not only teaches students science and coding but also develops life skills. Students get to practice how to solve problems by talking them through and communicating with their peers. You literally see their confidence grow.”

JACLYN FARLEY

K-8 STEM Teacher at St. Isaac Jocques

“Even our special education students benefit from TinkRworks. There’s little that makes us happier than seeing equity and access at work with every student accessing the curriculum—and flying their own drones in the middle school hallway!”

REBECCA LARATTA, Ed.D.

Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Student Services at Gower School District 62
