Why STEAM?
STEAM VS. STEM
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) includes the critical process of creativity and innovation.
While students in STEM programs may have experiential learning opportunities, they are limited to only science, technology, engineering, and math. The future economy requires so much more than an understanding of these areas – it requires application, creation, and ingenuity, the main principles of the A in STEAM.
STEAM takes STEM to the next level: it allows students to connect their learning in these critical areas together with arts practices, elements, design principles, and standards to provide the whole pallet of learning at their disposal. STEAM removes limitations and replaces them with wonder, critique, inquiry, creativity, and innovation.

STEM Programming Environment
CLOUD-BASED CODING ENVIRONMENT
Students develop algorithms and create code that is uploaded wirelessly to projects. They program various components (including lights, speakers, motors and more) bringing their projects to life in their own unique way.
Our drag-and-drop, block-based programming environment is laptop, Chromebook, and iPad compatible.
No prior coding experience is required, for both facilitators and students.
