STEM Programming Skills

USER-FRIENDLY CODING ENVIRONMENT

TinkRworks projects include access to TinkRcode, our drag-and-drop, block-based programming environment.

With TinkRcode, students develop algorithms and create code that is uploaded wirelessly to projects. They program various components (including lights, speakers, motors and more) bringing their projects to life in their own unique way.

No prior coding experience is required, for both facilitators and students.

Technology Requirements: Mac, PC, Tablets (e.g. iPad or Surface), or Chromebook

With every TinkRworks’ project, educators receive comprehensive coaching and support to ensure effective implementation of our curriculum. We empower educators to confidently teach STEAM through personalized professional development.

Our Online Resource Center includes all the tools needed to facilitate classroom instruction, complement essential standards, support project construction and programming, and administer assessments. Partners also have ongoing access our Support Team (Mon-Fri: 9 AM-5 PM CT).

Flexible Implementation​

TinkRworks’ flexible implementation options allow educators to personalize instructional time. Each project provides 10-18+ hours of instruction and can be used in science class, STEAM lab, after school, and summer school.

Professional Development

Educators receive the tools they need for effective launch and implementation, including in-person, online, and blended training, as well as individual and team coaching.

Online Resource Center

An online teaching resource center includes all of the project build information, lesson plans, slides, and activities that teachers need to teach STEM/STEAM and assess students.
