Take STEM to the Next Level with STEAM

At TinkRworks, we proudly advocate for the research behind the A in STEAM. Studies show how the arts positively impact student achievement and teacher efficacy when integrated into a STEM practice. STEAM not only takes STEM to the next level, it allows students to connect learning in science, technology, engineering, and math with critical design principles and standards. These provide a valuable framework and vocabulary for thinking about solving problems creatively. They remove barriers and replace them with curiosity, inquiry, and innovation.

What Our Partners Are Saying

"From an administrator’s point of view, the biggest success is that teachers enjoy using TinkRworks in their classrooms. They see their students engaged in something rigorous and relevant and that leads to a classroom that is well-managed. Students want to participate. You can’t say that about a lot of programs."

AARON ESPER, Ph.D. | Director of CTE and Special Projects The Career Academy Network of Public Schools

"TinkRworks not only teaches students science and coding but also develops life skills. Students get to practice how to solve problems by talking them through and communicating with their peers. You literally see their confidence grow."

JACLYN FARLEY | K-8 STEM Teacher at St. Isaac Jocques

"Even our special education students benefit from TinkRworks. There’s little that makes us happier than seeing equity and access at work with every student accessing the curriculum—and flying their own drones in the middle school hallway!"

REBECCA LARATTA, Ed.D. | Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Student Services at Gower School District 62
